With REGEDIT.exe you can import, export, modify or delete registry settings from the Windows registry.

The Windows registry is a directory which stores settings in key and value pairs about the hardware, software, users, file associations, system policies, etc.

Careless registry editing can cause irreversible damage. Thus, performing backups of the registry before editing it is highly recommended.
